DIY Blouse Pattern Inspired by Shein with Detailed Adjustments

Hello everyone, how are you? Today’s tip is a blouse pattern inspired by Shein.

To create the pattern, I lowered the neckline by 13 cm, brought the shoulder in by 4 cm, dropped the armhole by 1 cm, and added 0.5 cm for ease. I added 2 cm at the waist and 1.5 cm at the hips.

I used the waist dart as ease, raised the hemline by 1 cm, and smoothed it out to avoid any sharp points.

For the neckline, I made adjustments to prevent any excess fabric.

I transferred the neckline to the hemline, adjusted it, and refined both the hemline and neckline.

The front pattern is now ready.

For the back pattern, I lowered the neckline by 3 cm and brought the shoulder in by 4 cm. I also dropped the armhole by 1 cm and added 0.5 cm for ease. At the waist, I added 2 cm, and at the hips, I added 1.5 cm. I used the waist dart as ease here as well.

I raised the hemline by 1 cm to smooth it out.

The back pattern is now ready.

For the armhole, I marked a distance of 5 cm.

Then, I measured the armholes above the 5 cm mark, as this portion will not be added.

Using that total measurement, I drew the width of a rectangle with a height of 5 cm. I created the design for the gathered detail.

During sewing, this detail will be gathered.

This is the final pattern result with these measurements.
