DIY Back Tie Blouse with Pleated Sleeves

Hello everyone, how are you? Today’s tip is a Shein-inspired blouse.

To create the pattern, I lowered the armhole by 1.5 cm, added 1 cm of ease at the waist, and extended 4 cm down from the waist. The waist dart will be used as ease.

For the back pattern, I lowered the armhole by 1.5 cm, added 1 cm of ease at the waist, moved 3 cm from the neckline to the hem, and lowered 7 cm from the waist, connecting the side with the same height as the front pattern. The waist dart will also be used as ease.

I applied the same 1.5 cm adjustment to the armhole on the sleeve as well.

I drew 2 lines to the right of the center of the sleeve and 2 lines to the right of the other side of the sleeve, keeping a 3 cm spacing.

I cut the lines and opened up 2 cm of volume for the pleats, each number below representing one pleat.

I hope this tip was helpful, and see you in the next post.
