Hi everyone, how are you? Today’s tip is a Shein-inspired blouse.
To create the pattern, I lowered the neckline by 1.5 cm, took in the shoulder by 2 cm, and marked the strap width at 7 cm. I also lowered the armhole by 1.5 cm.
I cut the pattern and extended it 5 cm below the waist for the length, but I think 10 cm is ideal; 5 cm seemed short.
I cut the pattern.
The waist dart will be used as ease.
I adjusted the neckline and armhole.
I transferred the adjustments to the waist dart, which will be used as ease.
Don’t forget to correct the neckline and armhole adjustments.
Also, adjust the side seam.
Below the neckline, I lowered it by 10.5 cm.
I increased the top part by 50%; it can be more depending on how much gathering you want for your model.
I added a 2 cm button placket.
For the back pattern, I lowered the neckline by 1.5 cm, took in the shoulder by 2 cm, kept the strap width at 7 cm, and lowered the armhole by 1.5 cm. From the waist down, I marked 5 cm, but as I said, 10 cm will be ideal.
I cut the pattern.
The waist dart will not be sewn.
In my base, a 1.5 cm armhole adjustment is needed, so I adjusted and fixed the side seam.
I cut the pattern.
I increased the upper part by 50%, and, as I mentioned, it can be more. I also adjusted the side seam.
And that was the final result of the pattern.
