Hello everyone, how are you? Today’s tip is inspired by a cross-back blouse from Shein.
To make the pattern, I lowered the neckline by 13 cm. If you want a deeper neckline, you can increase this measurement. I drew a line from the bust dart point to the middle of the shoulder to create the design of the model. Below the bust dart, I lowered it by 2 cm to transfer it to this red line. The waist dart will not be sewn but used as ease in the blouse.
I adjusted the neckline by 1 cm and the armhole by 1.5 cm and corrected the side of the base.
I transferred the adjustments to the waist and bust darts, closed them, and opened them along the red line, which I lowered by 2 cm. I then removed it from the overlap position to be used in sewing. I raised the hem by 1 cm and adjusted it.
For the back pattern, I lowered the center by 11 cm and marked 2 cm on each side. I corrected the side and sketched the design, with the waist dart being used as ease. I raised the hem by 1 cm to adjust it.
Pattern cut out.
I hope this tip helped, and see you in the next post!
