Hi everyone, how are you? Today’s tip is for a blouse that’s trending for Summer 2025, inspired by Shein.
To create this style, I moved in 1 cm on the shoulder and made the strap 8 cm wide. I lowered the neckline by 13 cm and the armhole by 1 cm. From the center front, I measured 10 cm down from the waist, and on the side, I marked 8 cm down and drew the design.
I adjusted the neckline and armhole, and also made a 1 cm adjustment below the bust because my waist dart is 2 cm.
I cut out the pattern.
I joined the cutouts and made the adjustments.
Then, I drew the cutout.
I cut out the cutout.
And closed the bust dart.
I smoothed the edges and the side angle.
On the back pattern, I lowered the neckline by 1 cm and left the strap at 8 cm wide, just like the front. I lowered the armhole by 1 cm. In my base, there’s a need for an adjustment in the armhole since there’s always extra space, and from the waist up, I made a 1.5 cm adjustment. From the waist down, I went 10 cm down and on the side, 8 cm down.
I cut out the pattern, closed the adjustments, and refined it.
Then, I drew the cutout.
I cut out the cutout, and the pattern is ready.
For the ties, simply cut the desired length on the bias.
I hope this tip helps, and here’s the result in 3D.
